I have found a simple circuit using a 555 which will produce a machine gun sound. (I am going to use it in my model airplane). I have built and tested a circuit based on a 4013 which will switch pin 13 high when pushing a stick porward on a spare channel.

Has anyone designed an Ultrasonic device to allow the blind to "see". Like a destroyer pinging a U-boat or a car parking sensor.
Say a varying frequency of the return ping depending on range and feeding audio into the left or right...
