hi, JimLiu
I still get confused with the definition of lumped port
could you help me modify my CST modle ?
i attatched the file below!
thank you so much !
Thanks JimLiu, but could you tell me the detail ?
Added after 32 minutes:
should i define two discret port at point 1 and point 2 ? or just define 1 discret port connect 1,2?
I have tried useing a lumped port but i did't got the right answer,.
I thinks you didnot get the point of my question ,so i post the whole circuits here , please pay attension to the connection between the antenna and the chip!
please see my attachment below ,
thanks you guys anyway.
:cry::D

hi, all
i have truble in define ports for simulation this loop antenna!
the antenna is placed on a FR4 board (it is not a microstrip! but a conductor wire placed on a dielectric board), point 1,2 are the feeding point conneted to a difference signal source ,so how to define the ports?
I am a newer in the field of antenna design. who can tell me what's a differential antenna? and what's a single ended antenna?
in which book i can find the priciple of these kind of antenna?
thanks1

yes, the theory in sullivan's book is not quit right. the PML sullivan deduced is only applicable for 1D and in the edge part of the PML, at the corner where both sigx, sigy exit, the program is not right . you must using the original berenger's PML theory and deduce the correct formula
lemarie wavelet matlab
B-L wavelets is not a compact supported wavelet
But it has application because it has exact formula in time domain ( a recurcive formula? i can't remember very clearly)
you can search its property in matlab toolbox
if you are trying to apply wavelets in EM i hope you...
Re: How to apply boundary conditions & calculate S-param
IN MRTD we use PEC because the basis wavelet function for expanding the fields is not locally supported. using PEC and image theory we can know the field components outside the boundary .
