Oh you got a second confusion point:
As I recall from the cavity lectures the elelctric and magnetic fields (transverse to each other) of the resonant mode developed a complex basis factor i (or j) so that they were interpreted that they will carry NO POWER along any direction of the resonator...
phenomenon of resonance
Well if there is some conductivity inside the resonator then the dissipated power will give you shunt resistor. if the resonator some how open to the outer "environment" the power radiation loss will give series resistor
explanation of resonance
EM wave is the picture Maxwell and Hertz molded to interpret the "electric" and "magnetic" ENERGY flow so that we can calculate and design the flow of ENERGY. The Newton force is abstract to my kid at KG. In fact we "think" we understand the more we train our brain to...
PHYSICAL MEANING
Well if i get you right you want to study the mathematics with a physics viewpoint. This is very wide spectrum. My advice is that you should study the maths really abstract within the math courses and extract the physics out of it in each physics course. E.g. you may study how...

Hi again
I wish more edaboard members give their opinions about the discreteness of the universal space and/or time dimensions
you may like to review these two university poeple articles:

I'm a big fan of the palm os and the whole series of its licensees
there is one company that sell apalm computer with a gps inside that I read a couple of reports about If you like the idea that when you are not using the GPS tracker so just flip down town the back...

I thought something like that is banned or you can say it in a PM to whoever you like, So if you are a full member don't make fool member of me,
however redhat seem to deserve the thanks
Dear the_penetrator
As we agree to keep it to the scientific friendly level I must declare to every one that I do not support space dimension quantization but some of my colleagues said that without discretness we couldn't know the continous!
So I like every one to add his point of fiew to this...
I know this feature is in matlab 6.0 and most probablly in matlab 5.3 also; but i do not know how exactly it could be done and whether it could has externally defined m function
So please someone with previous experience in doing so w/ or w/o external function would explain
