HI
Actually you do not have to know ocean to use it....
Under the host - simply run : ocean
than - you get the ">" signal confirming you are under ocean.
Now - back to analog-artist - in the file just use the Sesion->Save_script
give a proper name with .ocn for convinience.
This file is...
Hi,
I know it is not what you need - but I always use the model statement (can you use ocean run?)
I got the required corners model - use the ocean run (it is a SKILL lang. to run the core cadance) a "model" statement and set to corner, and simulate.

Hi Devonsc
First - Battery charging (presumably Led Battery as they can supply immense currents and still retain normal operating - but - they are heavy... ) can be accomplish in two distinct ways: Current charging and voltage charging. Current charging of a led battery - is very tricky - as...
ibis2spice
Hi
I found that when using the Ibis2Spice.exe (converting Ibis model to spice model) I could not load the file to the Pspice software (and I have to use it for other components).
Does anybody knows what should I do to convert the file to Pspice convention ?

Re: PCB layer stack
Hi guybrush
As I understand you are planing for 12 layer structure.
remark: I do not know about books - I red some articles - but cann't seem to find them now.
I can lay some good rules if you want, but first - please specift how fast are the signals you are going to rout...
Hi
Hot swapping requires you to ensure correct "powering up" your card.
For example: if only 3.3v supply is in used: connect a P-channel fet - Source to the 3.3v pin, resistor between S and G, and connect the G to the GND. the circuit will be powered by the D of the fet.
What have you got? - if...

Hi
Though I did not build a solar-car.... I had my share of building a device that used battery for the extra boost...
Whell - Always used the battery for the supply. It is the one and constant point that power is always available.
Furthur - I would use a DC/DC with high efficiency (and...
process variarion
Do you mean the PCB itself - or electrical design?
For each there are nomber of compensation schemes and design rools (for example - if you need strong independence on variance of passive elements in Filters - than some active solutions are better than others, and Bessel -...
Re: Why low voltage/low power is difficult to relize in anal
Hi
Most digital elements work in the CMOS tech. the information that is passed is normally a low quantitie of charge and that is it (the actual transfere by writing a "1" is approximately charging a very low F capacitor) - current is...

I really do not know your knowlage extent and - most good books I know of - are paper ones....

Re: What's the difference of Track-and-hold and Sample-and-h
Hi
Track and Hold - is very different from Sample and Hold:
Track& Hold - the output reflects the input- until indicates to HOLD information - than the output is not changed until the HOLD is released.
Sample&Hold - The output is...
Hi
The High-Bandwidth SDH optical networks are yet to fulfill their potential.
Before the big "fall" of the optical networking market, there was a big rush to develop faster and denser optical connection (10Gb/s & 40Gb/s and using WDM and DWDM). This was driven by the ever "dreaming" public...
