Oh ya... What i did is, i opened data>>system.ucf and deleted everything in that and i wrote my own UCF. Maybe few constraints r left out. . I was supposed to add my written UCF to the previously existing 1. . Thanks for the reply.. I made changes in the UCF. its working now.

i am working with virtex 5 xupv5 lx110t board. I am trying to output an image on to a monitor using vga. But there is no vga_out in the board so i have to use dvi.
I dont know how to design it. Does it works same as vga (principle). Can somebody suggest me some tutorials or documents. ...
