Try to simulate your design in Eigne Mode and you will get an idea of your resonant frequency and Q factor. If these values match (or close match) then go for wave port or lumped port solution.
Thank you Robert. Can we model them using transmission line models, for example what will be the situation when these two rings placed in the position as discussed above are excited at 1 GHz????
Thank you Electrician for replying my querry. I will look into both of the links. My question is simple. Effect of gap between two 1 turn inductors of same radius placed on a common axis.
Thanks again for reply.
Chapter 12 and 13 of this book are need, can anyone help???

Hello
I have two conducting circular coils (1 turn each). These coils are made of square wire of 1x1mm and have radius of 10mm each. the radii of both the coils is same. material is copper. One coil is placed on top of other one with a gap of 1mm between them so that the centers of both the...
You can consult Advanced Engineering Electromagnetics by CA balanis in metamaterials. Most of the work is being done in circular configuration of SRs as circular configuration provides least of the discontinuities. However you can modify the design equations provide by JB Pendry and O Sydrouk in...
I am trying to design a helix antenna at 9 GHz. I used antenna design kit and the design gave me good return loss (-34 db) at 13.22 GHz where as it gave bad results (approx -13 db) for 9 G Hz (which is my design frequency). Why is it so? How can i get a better return loss (more than -30 db) at...
What is the main function of flux in flip-chip assemblies? can we avoid use of flux in a flip-chip assembly process. In cases where use of flux cannot be avoided, when can the extra process step of flux cleaning be eliminated?
I want some information regarding clean room classification nomenclature. why we need cleanroom environment, what can happen if we donot used clean room?
Hi,
I am using HFSS-13 and could not find some detailed help how to used this software. I have got manual for HFSS-10 but there are some differences which are not addressed in that (being manual of old version). Can anyone guide me to manual/help of HFSS-13 which can prove fruitful for...
I am using HFSS 13 and i can not snaop mouse to the grid. The usual diamond shape cursor is not visible. I am using windows 7 64 bit on my desktop.
The same software is working fine on my laptop with windows 7 64 bit. I tried Tools>Modeler Options> Drawing and checking the Point.
I need...
