Mosfet getting very Hot and burn

Thanks for replies. Could you please let me know if you believe this threshold detector should be build with OPAMP !?

Mosfet getting very Hot and burn

Hi, You are completely right and this is my issue which MOSFET is not working properly, could you please give me some ideas what are those considerations and what is better way which you mention before.

Mosfet getting very Hot and burn

The mosfet rating is 500V,2.4A,42W so for sure with 200mA load it wont be an issue. At the problem point I see the Gate voltage is about 3.5V so I think the mosfet is not turn on completely and by measuring the mosfet output it confirm which it is not on.

Mosfet getting very Hot and burn

Hi, I use LM2576 as a symbol here, sure I used full circuits components like the image below. This is a circuit for POE (Power Over Ethernet) and IEEE 802.3af. Power source equipment will detect 25K(24.9k) resistor by applying low voltage (2.8V~10V), During this 25K signature detection POE...

Mosfet getting very Hot and burn

Sorry I forget to mention: Output voltage is 12V(The LM2576 version is D2Pak). Input Voltage is 24V. Also I am using this circuit for POE.

Mosfet getting very Hot and burn

Hi, In this schematic when VCC feed with less than 1AMP mosfet getting HOT in some seconds and will burn if wont stop VCC(even if I feed with 300mA it will get HOT and blow), At this stage I see voltage drop so the Gate voltage will be something like 3~4V and seems the Mosfet is not ON...

battery charger with load share problem

Thx, the schematic helps me and I am getting clean switch now. Is it possible to know what is R2 doing in this schematic!? BR

battery charger with load share problem

I tried different loads, and there isn't noticeable changes.

battery charger with load share problem

220V power supply is a readymade and 0-30v adjustable one, even I changed it and try other model also but same problem.

battery charger with load share problem

Hi, In this schematic I use LEDs as load. When I unplug the power supply from 220V I have a fast blink in LEDs(a delay to switch over battery) but when I disconnect the 5V(VCC) there is no problem and battery switch immediately. With Scope I see voltage decreasing over the gate of the mosfet and...

    P-Channel mosfet turn off problem

I got the point from FvM and changed the supplier of the mosfet and solved. Seems it was fake and not original. For a test I changed the VCC to 12V and it worked ok, it shows it can't do 24V. Then I replaced the mosfet with a new one (which I think is original) also VCC to 24V and it is working...

    P-Channel mosfet turn off problem

It should be 0V but it is 8V!

    P-Channel mosfet turn off problem

Exactly I have a NPN to turn it on which is working properly. I would like to draw your attention I have this problem when I disconnect that path also.

    P-Channel mosfet turn off problem

Hi, I am trying to use a mosfet as schematic but in benchmark this is showing 8V in "Node1" which I think should be 0V, and It can turn on a LED also. I think the schematic is ok(I got it in another post) but I am not sure why this is happening. I measured the current for BLUE LED which it is...
