Hi All,
I have a question on S5GC FDICT-ND diode. I have used this diode into my DC-DC Power Supply circuit at Input side.
Here is the connection: -
DC + to Fuse to Filter circuit to anode of this diode and cathode of this diode to DC-DC switcher and output.
DC- to Filter circuit to DC-DC...
Hi venkadeshm,
Could you please explain me how four diodes going to work (functionality) in your circuit?
I have attached circuit and that can be operate either AC or DC source. (Not both same time.)
Is this attached circuit looks like a correct? ( I am not sure about DC path.)
Thank you,
sjs
Hi venkadeshm,
question on your circuit:-
How about DC? How can we get DC on output side? (If caacitor blocks everytime, how will DC reach to relay?).
thank you!!
Hi venkadeshm,
I am not sure why i did that way but after #10, you have re-draw diagram in #13 and then i have replied in #18 and asked you the same. I am not looking for black box as i have defined that need to detect ac or dc by using any method. I know it is not a regular thing but could be...
Hi venkadeshm,
I looked at your diagram and have a question on it.
My aim was for single input (AC or DC) but in your diagram there are two inputs. Separate AC and DC. (I think this is what HMS1021 indicated in his first question.)
In your last post, you have mentioned that " i left the high...
Thanks a lot HMS1021!!
I will defiantly read about that and try to come up with circuit. If possible, could you draw roughly circuit diagram??
really appreciated your inputs.

Thanks Venkadeshm. I will study your suggested circuit.
I will get back with you soon!!
Hi Venkadeshm,
I thought the same way but problem is "control circuit". What logic should I create to decide AC vs DC? Any idea? I am thinking really hard on it but nothing came up yet.
