Hello guys,
I am simualting a gain horn with HFSS. To reduce simulation time, i decided to split the object.
My questions:
1. How should I draw the new Line for the Port definitions? Is it right on the screenshot attached?
2. I need to define symmetry planes for the split, with a...
Hello,
I am simulating a dielectric lens with a gaussian beam to observe the changes of the E-Field after the wave enters the dielectric. The solution shoul be that the spherical wave goes into a plane wave. How can I make this visibl?
thanks a lot

Hey guys,
I created a 3D far field polar plot of a hornantenna. I want to display just the cross section not the whole 3d plot. Does anyone know how to do this?
thanks :)
Hey guys,
i am trieng to simulate a circular hornantenna with a lens. the horn antenna is designed with hfss and the lens is done by autodesk Inventor and then imported to hfss. now i want to simulate both. (Image attached).
My Problem: hfss does not like that the objects intersect and says...
Hey guys,
I am trieng to simulate a horn-pyramidal antenna for the w-band (75 GHz-110 GHz). I calculated all parameters I need (A, B, ..)and now the simulation using HFSS. The Problem is that it takes a couple of hours till i get the result: simulation did not converged.
my settings for the...
Hey guys,
I just started working with hfss. I have to simulate a rectangular waveguide with a sample in it.
I have two questions on it:
1. I defined 2 waveports, but when I define a Radiation boundary box, my ports turn in to internal ports and I have to assign lumped ports to simulate
2. I...
