Thanks, you are right, i have to put the way you said... but i never saw a schematic that does this and there must be a reason why nobody does... but couldn't find anything in google or here that talk about this. I don't want to mess this devboard because its the only one i have.
Hello!
I was wondering if i can add a germanium diode to a power supply on a devboard i have..i need to increase the voltage on the devboard by 0,3 since i'm getting undervoltage messages all the time from a SIM900 IC.
The sim900 datasheet say it could take a current over 1.5A, so i have to...
GSM Module/Chip
I'm looking for info for my final thesis.
I'm looking for a cheap GSM Quadband module transceiver to connect with a MCU over serial port.
All i want is send and recieve SMS messages or call a cell phone number and send DTMF signals...
Also, i saw some GSM modules that also...
First, i tried normal PNP but doesn't work also..
and also, in simulation everything works like a charm, the problem is the real-life circuit.. (this is not my final design, just the topology :( )
And i'm still trying to find where the prob
Haven't had too much time either, studying.. :(
Thanks
Nop, if it were a NPN would get a drop of 2 and 2,5V.. a PNP has a drop of 0,7-1V.
Its called low-dropout voltage regulator (the circuit).. i didn't invent nothing in this circuit.
And i changed the resistence as you said and keep working the same...
Without taking current i get 15,8V...
Hello
I'm trying to make a voltage regulator, and it work but under certain conditions it doesn't work as it have to.
I put my reference so i get 16V as output
At low current, i can get 16V output. (15mA)
At high current, i can only get 12V output (100mA)
I put my reference so i get 10V as...
ARM for newbie?
Hi
I wonder where shoul i start for learning how to program & the hardware of the ARM (philips lpc)... a tutorial or something like... (or books)
Thanks in advance

Hi
I'm about to start my final project and i want to do a fingerprint recognition system using a microcontroller.
The high point of the project is the robutness, i mean, the finger scanner will be used by everybody (300 people/day)
So, i was wonder if anybody knows a good fingerprint scanner...
