How to interface GPS module with PIC 16F877A (MPLab IDE and HiTech C v9.8)
my game plan is this
* Receive the NMEA data from the GPS module baud rate 4800
*Store it in a buffer in PIC 16F877A xtal 10MHz
*Transmit the received dat via Bluetooth baud rate 4800

Sir i am using the Ping))) sensor here is the datasheet **broken link removed**
i need a program in which the RB1 is made high when the sensor reads the distance as 100cm

i would like to know how to set the baud rate to 4800 as i am using a gps module of that rate it would be easy for me to interface both wifi and gps module together

actually i din't want bluetooth because of its short range now i understand the complexity with the wifi will come up with ma results soon
I am working a Robot in which i need to interface a wifi module to a PIC16f877A . I am using a GPS module on-board the data produced by the module has to be transferred to the PC else where so i chose wifi communication network for the purpose. Hence i would like to know what should i exactly do...
