I am trying to collect signals from a heat source isolated from the environment. That is the reason for enclosing the heat source in the anechoic chamber, so that any other external interference is eliminated.
The antenna having a return loss of <-20dB is used but I wonder if very low power...
The radiometer that we are using is a "total power radiometer" and it is used along with a RF switch, switching between the hot, cold and the target scene cyclicly. This means that the calibration points are collected along with the scene almost simultaneously.
The return loss of the antenna...
Hello,
I am taking some measurements in the anechoic chamber which is placed inside a Faraday's Cage, using a radiometer. The signals that we are dealing with a very low power signals i.e. something from a heat source. There are two different things happening:
P.S. (These measurements are...

these examples should help with momentum ...
Hello,
I am using the Momentum tool of ADS 2009 which requires optimization. I was using ADS 2006 previously which allowed me to perform optimization in momentum itself, but I found that ADS 2009 Momentum does not support Optimization within it. The layout has to be exported to the Schematic...
inset fed method
You can use a Half the wavelength as Length(L)
L=lambda/2=c/(2*Er*Fd)
where c=light velocity.
Er=dielectric constant of the substrate.
Fd= design frequency.
use the relation W*L=1.25 for the width of the Patch.
Now coming to the inset. You could have any value ranging from...
