Explanation for the experiment..related to micro structures.

I came across this interesting experiment but I couldnt follow some part in the end.. Can anyone explain? " Imagine you have a box filled with several glass marbles. Now you give the box a good shake and place it on a table. When opening the box now, where would you expect to find the marbles...

Does dynamic power depend on frequency?

A CMOS digital circuit consumes P watts of dynamic power while operating at 20Mhz clock frequency and 5v supply. What will be it's dynamic power consumption if the clock frequency is increased to 40 Mhz and supply voltage is decreased to 2.5V? a) P/4 b) P/2 c) P d) 2P Also please justify your...

    Up and down mechansim?

hey guys. I am looking to implement an up n down motion system. I am trying to dip a stick into a beaker and subsequently remove it after a short period. Now, the dipping speed can be uniform but the withdrawal speed has to gradually increase. So i'm thinking a dc motor with a ramp signal can...

Doubt on Precision of a stepper motor?

Is precision of a stepper motor fixed? Can it be changed by modifying the program? I need a stepper motor that has to make 6 steps in one complete rotation.. Does that mean I have to purchase a stepper motor with resolution of 60 deg per step?
