You should be more careful or learn more about HFSS! :)
The surface of the cavity in the WG is perfect conductor! Use the HFSS->Boundary display in the menu to see it.
Fill the cavity by vacuum and do the microstrip line longer!

The main difference between Lumped and Wave port is the following. Lumped port is one mode. If you want to excite your device with several modes you should use Wave port. But Wave port could stay only on the border of air box (not inside)! I think you don't need Wave...

problem with Ansoftlinks
Hi! I'm trying to import test model from Mentor PADS 2007 to Ansoftlinks v.4.1 with .asc file. The nets import work perfect but I couldn't import vias and pads. Did anybody have the same problems?
