Measurement of the phase of the receiving waves with VNA 8753ES

IF we need relative phase at different sample points still we need to compensate for these parameters. Also why the phase response obtained as shown in picture varied alot. It is supposed to be single angle.

Measurement of the phase of the receiving waves with VNA 8753ES

I have measured S21 and their was option to measure real and imaginary values from which i calculated phase which seems not quite right as phase response varied alot on single point with minor frequency difference i don't understand. Experimental setup and a sample measurement data is attached...

Measurement of the phase of the receiving waves with VNA 8753ES

Hi! I want to measure the phase and amplitude of receiving waves with a horn or dipole antenna using VNA. Can someone suggest how can i do it? I am new to measurement. Thanks

Field Measurement using vector field sensing antennas in simulation environment

Dear All! I want to measure E and M field of antennas using vector field sensing antenna in simulation environment, Can anyone provide me with useful resources or links to start with it? I can do simulation in HFSS and CST. Looking forward to your kind response. Thank You

    SMA Connector types and samples

Dear thanks for the response. I don't understand the SMA. I want to mount SMA on PCB. I can't use edge laung Smas. What I want to do is like shown in the picture something like that if possible. On the other side is a ground plane to which ground pins are connected. is that possible? What about...

    SMA Connector types and samples

I am looking for SMA connector with center pin mounting using surface mount and other four pins are through hole. Are there such connectors available? if so any sample or any alternate way to achieve so? Thank You

    Slot antenna and Practical issues

Hello Guys, I want to use Slot antenna for an application. i am facing some issues. I will be thankful if i can get useful feedback from you guys before actully send design to manufacturers. 1- antenna was cut from the ground plane on one side of FR-4 sub and another side is...

Encoding, Decoding and modulation at 3.5 GHz

Thanks alot FvM. I go through HackRf One which is exactly as i am looking for. But As an academician, i am looking to design one for my self. I have gone through the architecture of typical transceiver with off the shelf components mixers, fiters, mcus, pll, LNAs, PAs etc. what difficulties i...

Encoding, Decoding and modulation at 3.5 GHz

Thanx dear for trying to figure this out for me. But still information is not sufficient. First off all, mst of the things described are theoretical. i am looking for practical solution. like which IC should do the job. I want to minimize the no. of ICs. Also I need experts opinion on the...

How to use the pick face in CST MWS to define port

Re: how to use pick face in cst mws to define port Your question does not make any sense. Make sure your question is clear. I you fed antenna with microstrip then the face lies on width and height of microstrip line opposite to that of antenna should be seleced.

Encoding, Decoding and modulation at 3.5 GHz

Dear All, I have designed antenna array at 3.5 GHz. Now i am looking to modulate the information on the antennas. I had an idea to use UART or encoder ICs with micro-controllers. but i don't understand how to shift signals to 3.5 GHz. Also suggest me most practical technique to modulate data...

PCB Patch Antenna at 200MHz size

You can use PIFA type antenna to reduce the size. But gain depends on efficiency for patch type antennas. height should not be less than 0.025*lambda to get good gain. I will recommend IFA type antennas with smaller size and good gain.

[moved] Multiband Inverted-F Antenna W/ Independent Bands for Small & Slim Cellular

Re: [moved] Multiband Inverted-F Antenna W/ Independent Bands for Small & Slim Cellul By changing the W you will get response at desired frequency. Return loss about -30dB is possible by tuning the antenna. Find out the optimum FEED position along the Length. Best wishes

Understanding about gain of an antenna

but value of e^1=2.71 and is that gain is acceptable. It is very small. How can we enhance gain. i use PIFA antenna with dimensions of 30*30 mm with a shorting post 10 mm. The frequency response is as follows.
