Hi
I am beginner in PCB design and try to learning. I like to learn how to build a PCB with SMD parts. but when I search in miscellaneous devices and devices libraries (two Altium's default library) I can not find SMD parts, ot it's better to say, I don't know which one is SMD?
May you explain...
I have downloaded Keil 5.24a, and Arm cortex-M legacy support, when I want to create a new project, in micro selection step, in Software Packs there is no STM32F407VG micro, but there is STM32F407VGTx micro instead, and I don't know what is the difference and can I use that micro instead, or...
Thanks dpaul,
But I have passed many courses about them in university, and worked with microcontrollest and their registers. But my question is about those microcontrollers (or chipsets) that can have OS. I like to know how will the OS works on them!
For example, when DELL company wants to build a new laptop, it chooses the intel HQ6700 processor and Geforce m960 for graphic part and etc. so should DELL write any low level code when doing it's laptop?
Or when Samsung wants to build a new tablet or smartphone, and wants to use Qualcomm...
I like to know what's the procedure of building a new device? Foe example a hardware designer decides to make a new laptop that can run Windows or Linux, or someone wants to build a new Android device, he choose a proper CPU and other parts like RAM, graphic card, sound card, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth...
Those who build computers like Raspberry are digital electronics designer or analog electronics designer? If there are both of them in their team, which parts of the board building is done by digital designer and which parts are done by analog designer?
Is it possible someone with one of the...
Thank you dick,
but I dont say i want to build everything from scratch! I only say isn't it possible to build something by seeing open source boards like this: https://wiki.friendlyarm.com/wiki/images/d/d8/NanoPi-M1-1603-Schematic.pdf , and only trying to modify it. adding some other peripherals...
I like to build a tablet using something like allwinner processors! I saw in their website A-64 model can support Android 5.1. So, what's that mean? it means I only should interface the processor with the peripherals that I want(LCD, USB host, Wi-Fi IC, Bluethooth IC, etc) and then looking for...
Because we make some robots that they use this kind of boards. Also we want to make other gadgets those will use our designed boards, and we must ordering our designs to PCB manufactures to build!
I thought maybe it's better to establish a PCB manufacturing line. also we can taking orders from...
Hi
If I want to build this board :( https://wiki.friendlyarm.com/wiki/images/d/d8/NanoPi-M1-1603-Schematic.pdf ) in large number, I like to know:
1-What should be the minimum level(number) of production?
2-How much it costs to buy the PCB product line for that purpose(Multi layer board) and...
Hi,
I'm newbie in electronics, and I'm confused with registers of Micro's. I've counted the registers of the lpc213X series, and was about 200!! so I think for bigger Micros like lpc1768 it goes up by factor of 2!
So, if I want to program Microcontrollers, should I know all of their registers...
Hi,
I saw this schematic last night and searched for that part I've mentioned with 2 red squares, for 2 hours but didn't find a schematic exactly like that. I want to know the components and their models that used in that big red square, and also know what's that triangle I've mentioned in...
