    test question about circuitrywith diodes

diode is ideal 2 It is the same circuit! No change in circuit, no change in results.

    how does this circuit work

how does a ciruit work My description above happened when I was using a 12 volt source with something like 90 available amps. I accidentally shorted my limiting resistor, and pushed 12 volts through the base. The transistor glowed for several seconds until I managed to disconnect the power.

    how does this circuit work

12 volts slow glowing led circuits The 2.2K resistor prevents high collector current. A transistor can make an interesting pop and cloud of smoke and glow if the current through the base is not limited.

Need help with circuit containing MAX 6954

Need help with circuit A matrix of 4x4 is 8. 8x16 is 24. I looked through the document briefly, and it appears that the 4x4 matrix they show is actually a 1x16. So, you're doing an 8x16 matrix. This chip has some wires serving as anode for some LEDs and Common Cathode to digits or whatever...

How many of you have a HOME LAB?

Here's my home lab. I'm still getting things organized, as I was spread out over a few parts of the house. It's not big, but it'll work for now. And, yes, I made the desk myself.

STEPPER MOTOR - how doesthey work ?

Re: STEPPER MOTOR A stepper motor typically has 4 coils. Inside the motor, these coils relate to metal parts on the shaft in such a way that each step is only so many degrees. One stepper motor I use has 20 steps per rotation, or 18 degrees per step. By activating the coils in sequence, the...

What type of shock is more dangerous

how much voltage is danger for human Wow! Too many suppositions to read through them all! Here are the facts. AC is more dangerous. DC is continuous, and tenses muscles. AC alternates at a frequency (I'm assuming 60Hz) that is close to your heart rate. AC, when it causes fibrillation...

difference between Volt , Ampere, Watt

difference volt ampere For a real explanation that makes sense to everybody, think of it like a water hose. Volts=pressure. Amps=volume. Watts=the product of the two. Or an engine: Volts=torque. Amps=RPM. Watts=HP.
