I'm just starting to learn about channel coding and it looks like that this topic uses a lot galois field. In all books I've read they only provide addition and multiplication table, but not explain much more. I'm still confused how are actually addition and multiplication rules in galois field...
Hello.. I have read some multipath fading simulation codes. What makes me wonder is in all of them, fading is applied directly on mapped transmitted data (BPSK, QPSK, QAM, etc) without multiplying it with carrier signal.
In real world, fading is occured in analog signal, not digital (I'm sorry...
I've been told that for the phase shift oscillator, required gain for the amplifier is 29 or more. Why 29 and not other value? What is the reason behind it?
thx
I dont have any device to measure power, so that I use digital multimeter in series from the wall socket to the electronic device to get current and then paralel to get the voltage. I calculate the power consumed by multiplying current with voltage. Is this way of measuring valid?
thanks for the reply. Octave itself can capture audio. But usually I have to record it first as wav file or variable, and then make a computation on it. But sometimes we need to process the audio signal as soon as it received (for example for speech recognition to control something or maybe...
Does anyone know how to capture sound real time (to be processed) using octave. Usually I read wav file, but how to get audio input in real time? Is it possible?
Thank you very much
