ldo in rush current
hi :
thanks for your patience and response advance!
1) what is the in-rush current ?
2) if this current is too large ,what will happen and the negative results?
3) the relationship between the in-rush current and soft-start speed ?
4)how to decrease...
when i do sim of heai load ldo , i meet the same problem ,may be you output driver vol is not enough to cut off your output driver when the ldo is at the light load condition ! the other reason may be your driver size is very large and the Ron is very large ,so when the driver is at the light...
hi:
when i sim the ldo , the current load i use the two ways:
case1: Rload=1.2/Iload ,and Iload will be given a spe value , maybe 50mA ,then
Rload=24(ou) . then in this case the finite Rload will give some impact to
the open loop gain . with the Iload increasing...
hi :
i meet the same problem now ! when the output driving cap improves , the driving stage cause the psrr decrease very fast! if any possible , i want to share some with you !
it is very easy for this por ,you need some digital ckt is ok ,no need for the comparator from the point of current comsuption ! and maybe your trigger precision is between 100--50mV
better PSRR
to transbrother:thanks for your advice firstly , could you like tell me in detail how this ckt improves the psrr performence , thx advance!
hi:
i have a ldo using the 1.8 power supply and my sim result of the psr is only between the -35 and -30 dB in the normal case , if in the case pvt :ss 1.62 -55 the result will be poor , and the psr only reach -25dB ! i dont know how to improve the psr now and i want to know if this param is...
when we do the design of bandgap , we normally take the tcf and psrr and line specs into consideration ! we can get the high psrr using the folded-cas amp ,but it will also introduce some offset , improve the area factor can reduce the offset at some degree! when you think about what is the amp...
from the view of "matching" ,i do think amp1 is better ,but in the low power low dissipation design ,amp2 can save some power dissipation! and how should i make the trade-off between "precision" and "power dissipation"?
i have two choice of the amp ,but i cant make understand what is the different between them ! pls give me some advice and thx advance!
from the view of amp gain i think they are the same, but if you meet these two amps ,which will you choose and why ?
