    How to define ports in strip line using HFSS?

    Re: Help with HFSS If you are defining a stripline, it is the same as the waveguide port. If you are defining a microstrip line, add a polarization line with the port, it will be OK!

    depend on your application, in ultra-wide band, the pattern and phase is mostly the points you must check. And in relative narrow band (still UWB) , VSWR you must check too because it is more like the traditional antenna.

    ansoft hfss cost Hp hfss is more user friendly, but cost more memory at the same precision. In fact, the hp hfss is too old to do simulate.
