diode inductive load
i wander where the term free wheeling came from considering that is a clamp diode for inductive loads. it must come from the same guy that say de bugging and katchanga for a computer sudden stopage and debugging for teletype machines actual debugging.

slew rate comes with the amp there is practically nothing to inprove on it a 741 if you try to slew faster then you will have the side effect of delay. you want improve it buy a dif amp some are totaly pin for pin compatable. to tell you the truth this guy is very slow...

the noise of any amplifier is generated at the input source PERIOD. the feedback resistor can only amplify the noise or reduce the noise depends on the vakue. a good amplfier usualy has a 90 DB moise rejection from power supply so the [enviroment] whatever that is has very little to do with it...

if the battery is the source of power and it is tied to the motor the bemf is shunted by it. nothing can move that battery since it is a current source and not a voltage source. and the bemf only shows up during commutation opens or voltage source time.
