Hi all,
I am confused on how to feed a monopole antenna with a stripline feed in HFSS. Should the stripline be within the substrate and be connected to the antenna with a coax cable or aperture coupled. Only the feed part has the partial ground.

The antenna is reconfigurable rotational antenna for cognitive radio applications in which some dimensions were not given. It is a UWB antenna operating in GHz range. The link is www.ece.unm.edu/cognitive-radio/papers/journal_2011_06_01.pdf
I am doing my project in reconfigurable antennas. Some measurement values in the design are not provided in the base paper. Can we assume those values. Please help...
