Re: write data in ram onto eeprom when there is a power outa
Hello OlVi
Is there something about designing these crcuits on the net?
I am eager to read something more about it
Cheers
Re: Battery Backup
A question to on1aag, or anybody who knows
How do you size the resistor?
I guess it depends on the batery capacity, but what is the formula?
Cheers
Thanks you both guys for being so patient. I am really sorry to perhaps be seen as a 'tinkerer' :D.
This is a whole new field for me and I am simply afraid I'd make a stupid oversight, prolonging the development period. Timing for producing prototype PCB's in my country is quite long (let's say...
Hey BuriedCode.
So, you sniffed the very document I referred to. :D
My RF is at 433MHz, whereas my digital is at 8MHz max.
What about this: if I connect the GND solder point (where I solder my coax cable) and ground pin of the RF module (it is not a Wood&Douglas module, by the way, it has a...
Thank you BuriedCode!
It is not that I did not believe the appnote, but needed a confirmation.
Abot the paralel GP's. I was thinking about the GP's on the opposite sides of a PCB. If you say you have that practice (I have not) it is OK with me
I'll let you know what happens in the end
Hello
Regulars here could have been watching my path in designing my very first RF link. It took quite a long time (a few months, but doing some other stuff meanwhile), and I guess this is the final doubt.
So, the RF module is on the PCB. The external antenna connector is mounted on the...
Hello!
RF is not really my field od expertise, but I hoped to face not that many problems.
I am designing a 433MHz short range radio link, and I would like to employ an integrated PCB antenna.
I found a few general application notes on the net, but still i don not know how to determine...
Hello,
I need some help to catch up again with radio communications. Although I obtained my degree in communication five years ago, I did no practice in the field, since I switched my professional interest to embedded design. Recently, I had to design a simple radio link, and I need to catch...
There are three fuse bytes in some ATMEGA devices. I am working with ATMEGA162, and ICCAVR only shows two of them. Beside, I suspect that only the lower byte is displayed correctly, since I get a non-default values for the middle byte with a unused device.
Somebody with experience with this??
Hi! I have a pretty tight deadline, and am pretty confused with all the info I received from the manufacturers of the RS485 drivers (Application notes and datasheets).
My problem is: what should the termination i my case look like? I have multiple transceivers on the line (app 40m), and the...
thank you all guys for the feedback. I have removed the switch from the PCb and will do some intervention on the PCB regarding source connection, hopefully this will be the solution. If not, then I will check the transformer.
Thanx again, I might come up again with results

I have designed a SPMS using Top-Switch II family from Power Integartions. Output voltage is 12.5V, and the power is 25W. The feedback I use is opto/Tl431 feedback.
My problem is that the switch enters auto-restart mode all the time, getting as high as 3.8V at the output during...
Hello BlueSky68!
I have recieved the free development kit from Cypress as well. I want to ask you if I received the whole package since I am suspicious towards customs in my country.
I received:
1) a cable,
2) a small PCB (guess it is emulator), haven't tried the system yet, have picked it up...
