hello
i am new to hot air soldering , i just ordered a cheap ATTEN AT858D+
i am unsure which solder paste to buy and can only seem to find a couple in my price range.
there are two below from the same company. I wonder are these any good? I am trying to repair a hard disc PCB by moving a...
hi, i just deleted a couple of unusual parts they were just pads that i was going to solder too.
I think the problem may be the audio ground is sharing the same as the USB ground?
hello there.
I have a problem with my design.
I have an audio design placed together with an led system which is controlled by a micro controller (USB).
They both share the same Power supply which is causing problems I beleive.
The audio system sounds great by itself, that is until I...
hello
i have just installed a new heater into my desolderiron. i am a little worried, i hope someone can help.
before i installed the new heater, the old iron was not working so well, the tip was stuck, blocked, it was quite hot; but i do not remember the heater chassis getting hot at all...
hello
I own a ye olde pace MBT-100e desoldering station; with i beleieve, an sx-55a hand piece?
Unfortunately the heater needs to be replaced, but they are not for sale anymore ( excpet in the US; with big import and handling fees)
I wonder if anyone knows if a newer SX-70 heater will fit...
Thank you very much Tahmid . i just tested it out and it works , yes its just right , 7 secs if momentary, or 7 secs if the logic is held on. : )
i shall see how small a footprint i can get now ,
thanks once again.
have a great week : )

hello : )
i have been trying different ways to turn a logic held high signal (constant 5v trigger signal)
into a shorter duration ( 7 secs) logic output.
The only way ive found so far, is to use a 555 timer at a low frequency, to pulse a decade counter and have the decade counters second...
hi, thanks foxyrick, i really like the idea behind a dual regulator circuit.
sorry but i have given misleading info on the external psu input. My external psu reads approx 15v with no load on it. ( attaching my multimeter to it) and the 4 pins are simply a 4 pin molex port/header ( i use 4...
hello : )
i have a 12v regulator that can haddle 1.5 amps. i made a dual rail power circuit so that i can power a number of op amps and alike from it. but i am not sure of the power limitations of the dual rail circuit? would this depend on the caps and resistors used? The resistors used in...
hello.
can anyone help with deciphering this picture below? it is taken from the schematic of the h bridge A3953SB-T i am to try out today. the pixelation is very bad and i cannot see if there is a capacitor and resistor between 3 and 5 (earth)? and also between 11 and 13 and 16 & 12? the pdf...
oh darn it. : /
i can reduce the duty cycle, but i think i would feel more comfortable with an appropriate h -bridge , it needs to be able to handle approx 31kh PWM.
i tried a SN754410 that was easy to solder up, i liked it allot, however it did not like the high frequency pwm only lower...
.
hello : ) hope your having a relaxing Christmas,
I recently bought a H bridge to power a small 10v dc 800ma motor.
L6202 Datasheet pdf - DMOS FULL BRIDGE DRIVER - SGS Thomson Microelectronics
i have my h -bridge working it takes its own (IC) power from the powersupply VS pin 9 which also...
hello.
I wonder if anyone knows what rated resistor (in watts) would i need for the "R2" 10 ohm in this schematic below for my h -bridge, i fear i may melt one if i get it wrong .
i am using a 10v motor that has a peak amp usage of aprox 900ma.

thanks for any help : )
