FPGAs are faster. So, if u need performance opt an FPGA.
DSPs are cheaper and requires low power although FPGAs will lower core voltages are there.But DSP scores on power front too.
For floating pt DSPs offer better solution.
zero-padded prefix
Hi all,
I have just started reading about the OFDM systems .I have read in
some paper that zero padding is advantageous over Cyclic prefix
approach.
In most of the systems i have found Cyclic prefix there not zero
padding.
ONe more thing ,in 802.11 64 pt IFFT/FFT was taken...
