    getpty: permission denied problem

    getpty I have 2.4.20 Linux on a PowerPC board. When board is booted using a NFS, I cannot telnet onto the board. After the initial messages, I get an error "getpty: permission denied". Any setting needs to be changed for setting this right? Please help. Thank you.
