hi,i am usig ARM CORTEX M3 LPC 1788 for UART communication.But i am getting confuse how to manage or set the start bit.there is a function for stop bit,parity bit and baud rate but not with start bit.so plz help me.
i have followed the same circuit and i have datasheet is as below.i have used 16 ohm speaker and dont know how to manage the power rating of the speaker.
For the APR 9600 i have folllowed the circuit as in datasheet for random access mode but i am going to control this with the help of microcontroller.i have connected message 1 to 8 ie pin 1 to 9 to the microcontroller and for REC pin ie pin 27 also i have connected to the microcontroler in order...
yes i am sending in the same format and the command properly works also.message is send,calling process everyhtg is ok but the response from the gsm modem is not in proper way.when i send atd98....;then call is done but theresponse from the gsm modem must be ok but instead of ok i get atd98...;
when i communicate gsm modem sim 900 with computer then it works properly and response is also as required but when i try to communicate with arm cortex 1788 then the gsm works properly like calling message and every commonds works properly but when i view its response it is not as required like...
i have tested the gsm modem in PC and it works properly.but when i try to connect with arm cortex data is being send through arm board but gsm is not responding.Is this problem in connecting RS232?the same wire works well while teting in desktop.
I read older thread and actually I am getting confuse on that does "GSM SIM 300 Modem with RS232" need MAX 232 for connection?could anybody give me any idea of this.
