Hello. Well after the 3rd time getting hit at work, this last time was major damage... of course no one said anything. I suspect that the issue is parking. The parking lot is a crappy design. Anyways, I built a bull bar for the rear bumper (its a truck) but I need some type of proximity device...
Maybe a link to a servo, motor, stepper to help out? Not sure what I should be looking at, as mentioned previously, self centering is what we are aiming at...
Thanks! So the consensus is that a servo will NOT support the gimbal weight and head weight? However, I from what I understand, a stepper might work, but might not spin fast enough? Plus I assume stepper motors do not have an auto center... this project is turning into a nightmare. Thanks... I...
Re: Need some help with schematic and (code?) for RX / TX servo controller project
Unfortunately the member that was going to help me was not familiar with servos which is what other members suggested I use. Can anyone else help me with this project? Thank you.
One of the members here has been kind enough to help my son and I with a school project. Basically it is a pan/tilt gimbal that will have a mannequin head on the top that is controlled wirelessly by a head tracker - so as your head moves the mannequins head should also follow suit. I don't...
I am trying to assist my son with a science fair project. The fair is based on wireless technology, so my son would like to make a robotic head. The basic design is a gimbal (pan/tilt) with a mannequins head on it. My son, would like to be able to push a bottom (on/off) on the TX box that will...
Power intake will be from solar and testing it yesterday showed power fluctuations from 5 volts dc .85 amps to 3.5 volts .4 amps. due to clouds or more important its a non tracking system. The charging circuit I am using uses a chip that is only good until 5.5 volts. Can someone suggest or post...
Ok, so let me get this right. The PROG pin with a resistor at 500 ohms, will have a max current outout of 2A. Now if it has a max current limit of 3A and my power supply provides 3 amps MAX, could I change the PROG resistor to 333 ohms for 3 Amps max?
Also, the Vin/PFI/PFI-RET split resistor...
