My SIM808 runs on a LiIon Battery within nominal voltage range. On an incoming calls after a few rings it always outputs "OVER-VOLTAGE POWER DOWN" and shuts down the system. This is happening always since the unit is built in to a conducting enclosure and rarely when it was open on a lab desk...
This mostly happens when the internal resistance of the power supply is too high and the SIM808 tries to connect to the GSM network. Try a real LiIon or LiPo battery attached - this might solve the issue.
This is what you get as long the GPS is not yet locked. Maybe you have bad reception indoors, maybe your antenna cable is broken, maybe you have an active antenna, but supply is off, maybe......
You can get further data for satelltes in view and use, SNR, and other GPS status with plain GPS...

Is it possible to develop an EAT application for the SIM808 the same way as for SIM908, SIM928 or SIM800H?
Anybody knows if a IDE or compiler setup exists with header files for SISM808?
I can find a setup for SIM800H, does anybody have an idea if this can be used for SIM808 as well?

the 1137B04SIM908M64_ST.rar (6.37 MB) posted above does not contain the 1137B04SIM908M64_ST.sym file. I need this file for setting up my IDE to create an EmbeddedAT application for my SIM908.
Does anyone have this? Or a complete RAR (including the .sym) of another version beyond the B20...

Can I use the above image to add my own EmbeddeAT application? To me it looks as if the 1137B04SIM908M64_ST.sym file is missing in the container.
