Re: IR Dist. meas. using OPAmps to give analogue rep of dist
thanx, that clearedd up some things. But is there no way of rather detecting the intensity of the reflected light and using that information to determine distance. im trying to make this out of discrete components, the pre built ones...

measuring to a brick. im building a robot. planning on detecting bricks placed at random points along a path
Re: IR Dist. meas. using OPAmps to give analogue rep of dist
im looking for around 1 to 3 cm accuracy. Do u have any circuitry in mind that will help me?
Hi all
Im trying to build a distance measuring cct using infrared. My goal is to somehow represent the distance of an object from the IR sensors with voltage signal that is proportional to the distance between the sensor and object. I'm working off a 0-5V source. My plan is to use a PIC to...
Another good book to look at is "C++ How to Program by Deitel & Deitel" Good examples and works through how to approach a problem instead of blindly assulting problems.
Re: PLC questions?
Lol! :!:
Can u use PLC's and how fast can u learn to use a diff make?
Basically how redily do u accept change. the list goes on forever
pic16 to ecg signal
you can get a good cct from texas intruments which i'v used from their site for free and u can also find some freeware apps like Zelscope that convert ur soundcard into a Oscilloscope so u can test ur ECG out and get the output on ur PC. U just need to make some leads form...
pickit c compiler
If any one can direct me as to what c compiler I can get that suports the 16F690 Microchip I'd be very gratefull. I recently purchased the PicKit 2 microcontroler for beginners and found that it came with a C compiler for 17F & 18F series chips only...
Re: IR Distance Sensor
Been testing several IR circuits for measuring distance and they all pretty inconsistent. Would the sonar circuit above give better accuracy than IR? U'r help would be appreciated!
