HI
When u say "Size the ratio between P and N MOS such that you minimize the hump, that is make the ON resistance as flat as possible within the operating voltage range. "
do u mean to do this experiment with minimum size NMOS and PMOS ??
Can u please elaborate a little ?
Is there any...
Hi all,
I want to club multiple boolean time domain waveforms into a single waveform with decimal radix in MATLAB.
In other words I want to create a single bus which represents the decimal value of the multiple boolean time domain waveforms JUST LIKE THE SIMULATORS USED FOR DIGITAL DESIGN e.g...
I am working on sigma delta modulators.
I came to know that the MIXMODEST presentation/document provides an excellent description of the factors related to the design of sigma delta modulators.
the link given below does not work.

Can anyone forward me the document
Hi all.
I wish to implement a MOS only negative swing peak detector as shown in figure. The output should be as shown in red color.
I am using 1.8V supply.
can anyone tell me how to do
Hi FvM !!!
Thanks for your reply.
I understand sampling (normal or undersampling) as summation of shifted versions of the input. Even the expressions for the sampled signal do not show anything like the equation you've mentioned.
Kindly elaborate on the equation. If possible, can you give me...
hello all !!!
I am reading "Filter Basics: Anti-Aliasing" a tutoral by Maxim (https://www.maximintegrated.com/en/app-notes/index.mvp/id/928).
I am confused in the section of undersampling.
I am attaching the image of the pdf of the section where I am confused.
The tutorial says...
Hello everyone!
I wish to design a ring oscillator of 250 Hz (without using inductors and capacitors ) with two differential outputs. But the phase difference between the two outputs should be exactly 180 degrees. Also I need the output DC to be 900mV. I am using 1.8V supply voltage.
Can...
I have taped out a chip for low power ECG acquisition. I have to plan to test the chip when it comes back.
Regarding the same, I would like to have some information about the test set-up used for the testing if the chip.
What are the instruments used for the testing -company and...
Hello all !!!
Can anyone explain me
From theory, Fourier transforms is a even function only when the input signal is both real-valued and even function in time domain.
Then
1) why The Fourier transforms of real-valued functions are symmetrical around the 0 Hz axis.
2) in all the figures...

Re: Sigma Delta ADC Linearity & 3rd Harmonic
That is a very practical problem...
1) If i take fin=fb, then while calculating the snr I am not including any harmonics (noise calculations take into consideration frequencies only upto FB)
2) So the best way is to choose a fin such that around...
Re: Continuous Sigma Delta ADC coefficients (Schreier Tool Box)
I guess that much precision is not important for sigma delta adcs.......... thats the beauty of this architecture...
the maximum test input sinewave amplitude is the Vref that goes in the feedback... also the snr is maximum for an input sinewave of an amplitude around 6dB less than the vref...
Bakers book "CMOS: MIXED-SIGNAL CIRCUIT DESIGN" is an excellent material on quantitative understanding of data converters... it also has chapter on noise shaping data converters...
The know the level of strength of ur signal in the spectrum, u shld first state the Vref in ur design... The spectrum of ur output is plotted with respect to the Vref (the feedback voltages)..
The signal strength in dB is 20*log10(Vin/Vref) where Vin is the amplitude of the test input sine wave.
