    cst microwave manual CST and ADS can simulate together by installing a design kit. HFSS easy to learn, ADS for 2D simulation, CST not very easy to learn but once you master it you will feel it powerful :)

    it depends on your rise time also, normally exceed 5% or 10% of lamba we can see the TL effects

    wave port lump port is located internally and compute S-parameters directly at the port. complicated than wave port. wave port is like a external source feed to the structure
