    simple NIMH charging circuit

Hi all, I have a simple circuit for charging a 3.6V, 600mAh NIMH battery; I am using a simple diode-resistor circuit for charging the battery. In other to avoid overcharging, I have selected an input voltage of about 5.6V, and resistor value of 12Ω, if the diode forward voltage is 0.7V, then...

How can I possibly reduce the power dessipation

Re: MPPT thanks for your response, N mosfet for low side switching buck converter? the issue is that i have not seen a comprehensive literature on that. but I will still search further. I may probably try using a mosfet gate driver IC, will that reduce switching losses (switching freq is...

How can I possibly reduce the power dessipation

MPPT Hi every one, I have just built a 40V, 5A, Maximum Power Point Tracker, using a buck topology, and it works considerably well, especially for low sun conditions. I used P Mosfet for the switching, and complimentary transistors (BC639 and BC640) as the mosfet gate driver. My problem...

    analogue multiplier made of microcontroller

Re: analogue multiplier thanx for that, maybe i should consider pic 16xxx, would that be suitable?

    analogue multiplier made of microcontroller

analogue multiplier hi, I find analogue multipliers (e.g AD633 @ £5.5) quite expensive, hence i'm considering cheaper options, so is it possible to use a simple cheap PIC microcrontroller (e.g PIC 10xxxx) to make analogue multiplier?
