Hi,
libXp.so.6 is a file found in Redhat Enterprise Linux 4. What I did was to copy the file and paste it in Redhat Enterprise Linux 5. I think the path was /usr/X11R6/lib. Oh yeah, you'll also have to place the path in your cshrc file.
batch run mode cadence
Could anybody here please teach me how to run Cadence in batch mode so that the Analog Design Environment doesn't lock up a license at all times? I can't seem to be able to run Spectre because of that. Thanks loads.
Guys, I'm using Matlab to calculate the lumped physical parameters of a PI model of a transmission line, and the output is printed in a .out file in the following format:
inductance 1
inductance 2
series resistance
capacitance
I'm using these parameters for simulation in a model of an...
Re: Downgrading TAR?
I got it done!!!!! I had to install SuSE 10.0 though, since I didn't have the updates and hotfixes that would've enabled me to run Cadence on SuSE 10.2 (The computer admin at my Uni got it running on 10.2, but only by using the updates). Running on 10.2 gave me error...
Re: Downgrading TAR?
I don't think the problem is the older TAR. Apparently, kdeinit won't run if I put something in .bashrc (if I put it in /root, root won't boot. Likewise for /home/user). When I remove it, it boots fine.
Re: Downgrading TAR?
Thanks, but I've got a new problem.
I've done everything, and installation of cadence went fine. But now when I start SuSE, it tells me that it can't start kdeinit, and for me to check my installation. What went wrong??!???!
Help!
Guys, I understand that to install Cadence 5141 on SuSE 10.2, I'd have to downgrade TAR to a lower version. How do I go about that? Everytime I try to get rid of the current version (1.15), it tells me that other programs are dependent on it. And when I use Yast to install an older RPM, it...
