i want to build a network of push buttons (similar to a call system of an hotel or hospital). is there any equipment on the market to do this? ate low cost, course.
a simple push button that sends a signal over a RS-485 network.

i want to build a terminal for the managment of bonus points.
each client has a magnetic card. this terminal sould register the amount of points generated by the client accordding to value of the operation
example:
client buy something that costs $30, so it wins 30...
file with bad crc
when a try to download the hex file generated by IAR PIC18, i got a CRC error.
i've tried different download software like picall and others. both gives CRC error.
can anyone help please?
