electronicsbasecom,
I think that there aren't problem with 5Hz, my project works with frequencies among 5Hz and 60Hz. However, you need increase the bootstrap capacitor value (you don't said in your post, but I assumed that is a low value due the 4kHz frequency). Try a 330uF capacitor, I used...
Hi nup,
I'm using a microcontroller (PIC16F877A). You can connect it directly through a resistor (470R or 330R), but a best option (in my opinion) is to use a 4049 inverter buffer and optocouplers (if the switching frequency is low).
Hi there,
I could inverter 12 Vdc in 12 Vac (the project is inverter 180 Vdc, but I started low). I made the isolation using optocouplers to separate the microcontrollers of the power side.
I made two +5V supplies and one of +12V. I put one of these +5V supplies and the +12V together (same...
Hi thannara123 and Tahmid.
Thannara123, I'll take a look in your link. Thanks in advance :D
Thamid, I'll try assemble in a breadboad with your tips. Thanks :D If I need some help after this, I'll post here again.
I appreciate all the help.
Hi thannara123,
I would like to thank for the your help :D
Other doubt, if the load is a inductive load (like a motor AC)? Can I connect the ground of PIC with the ground of load?
Thanks for help!
Hi thannara123,
I'm using the following circuit:
Can I connect all GND? In other words, can I use the common GND to +180V and +5V sources?
I made my +180V source using a rectifier bridge + 1000uF 250V cap.
Hi there,
I'm using the IR2110 to design a full bridge inverter with IGBTs, controlled by PIC16F877A. The high side voltage is 180V. Well, can I connect all grounds of circuit: Vss, COM and the bottom side of H bridge (sources of bottom IGBT)? This connection can damange the IR2110 and PIC...
Ah, right. I upload in .jpg.
The first wave goes to HIN pin of IR2110 in left side;
The second wave goes to HIN pin of IR2110 in right side;
The third wave goes to LIN pin of IR2110 in left side;
The fourth wave goes to LIN pin of IR2110 in right side;
Hi ch wazir.
The project don't work, only works in simulation... I have doubts about the time that the HIN pin can be high, because the frequency of my project is low (between 5 and 60 Hz), then the HIN pin may be high up to 200 ms... I don't know if the bootstrap capacitor works in this situation.
Hi all :)
I'm still having problems with my inverter circuit. Looking for informations about circuits and IR2110, I designed the following circuit:
My goal is control a AC motor changing its velocity, keeping the relation Voltage/Frequency be constant. The desired inverter's output is...
