    AT commands, uart, GSM module

Thanks sloso for your quick reply! I did the PCB myself too. How did you power up the pins to switch the G24L on? I'm thinking thats where my problem is, currently i'm using a PIC to drive the pins. Not too sure if CTS_N and RESET_N need to be driven manually or just ON_N or IGN as written in...

GSM SIM card interfacing with microcontroller

Sorry for the late reply, I have been busy with work. I tried, but it didn't work. Right now i'm trying to test it using Hyperterminal via a USB/Serial cable. I am expecting a reponse of "OK" when i input "AT". However this is not occurring as well. I realised that it might be because i did not...

    GSM module, AT commands, uart

Hi, I'm facing the same problem as well - not getting a response from HT. I have configured the IGN, CTS_N and RESET_N according to the timing sequence in the operating instructions (if anyone knows the exact method of doing this please let me know - think this is the main reason why its not...

Problem with connecting G24 module to PC correctly

Hi, was wondering if anyone knows the solution to this? I've followed the instructions on the manual (setting IGN etc) and its still not responding. Any help is much appreciated! thanks!!

GSM SIM card interfacing with microcontroller

Thanks for the quick reply! would like to clarify with you regarding the power supply. in the g24-l datasheet it says that max input to pin is 3.0V, while my power supply to PIC is 5V, effectively will output from pic be approx 5V too - and damage the gsm?

GSM SIM card interfacing with microcontroller

Hi, i'm currently working on a similar project. I planned to test if my gsm (g24-l) was working by hooking it up to my pc but spent days wondering why my gsm wont respond to my AT command (usb/serial on pc) - because i dont have the max232. As mentioned you said that it can be interfaced...
