    IBM Cell Processor Programming

Hi, all: Any one have experience/code about the IBM cell processor programming. Especially, about how to pass messages between main and different child processors, between each child processors. Can provide the sample code if got? Thanks

Problem ICSP, of PIC24HJ64GP506 using ICD2

icsp programming pgd2 Now, I change to add supply from the board 3.3V. The status all correct now, The device can be detected now: "Setting Vdd source to target Target Device PIC24HJ64GP506 found, revision = Rev 0x3002 ...Reading ICD Product ID Running ICD Self Test ...Passed MPLAB ICD 2...

Problem ICSP, of PIC24HJ64GP506 using ICD2

icd0161 Hi, Previousely, I design a circuit (5 pins and VDD, MCL isolated to supply during programming), and used ICD2 to ICSP program PIC16F877A, it is succesful. I am using ICD2 to In-Circuit program the PIC24HJ64GP506 now (5 pins and VDD, MCL isolated to supply during programming), when...

    Detect 72 V with a PIC 3.3V controller

    Thanks so much, What is the R1 R2, R3 suggested? may I put: R1 = 100k R2 = 1K R3 = 1K The port shrink current is Maximum 4mA

    ADC of PIC micrcontroller 16f877

I think it is correct if the voltage shown is ok. The PIC ADC need some time to convert the ADC value, if your clock is very slow or the time between two convertion is not long enough, it has problem. You will see the ADC value is changing all the time. Put some delay time suggested if it like...

    Detect 72 V with a PIC 3.3V controller

Hi, I want to design a circiut can detect a 72 V DC supply using PIC controller which is using 3.3 V supply. Is there any good method/ safer other than just put a voltage divider there? The concern is to reduce the possibility of the Microcontroller be damaged by the high voltage. Thanks...

Suggest me a powerful PIC C compiler

download ccs pic c compiler Boost C is good, convinient to use. Hi-Tech is running on dos for mine which is troublesome and large code size. Micrchip C18 and C30 is good and powerful for latest Microchip user

Will the hex file for 12F509 work for 12C508?

Question about pic Just a point that altought It is pin compatible, The two microcontroller may have different register types or names. which you must check the datasheet. If that, the program will not work.....Or you just try it see how is the effect if do not want to read that two datasheets.

    PIC16F877 & PIC16F877A ???

Yeah, 16F877 is the new product to subsititue 16F877A. It is cost effective and more reliable. We change to 16F877A after using long time of 16F877.

    Power supply Problem using 16LF877a

we can use pic16lf877a instead pic16f877a We use 16F877A with 3.3 V supply, and with 10 M Hz crystal speed, It is ok! I also believe it is either your power supply is not clean or your circuit is not good design.
