Thanks for your concern.. i had almost forgot i have posted this thread... Actually i had dropped this project... But as you have done this project, if u provide me the details it'll be helpful for me to start again the project...
Details with a circuit diagram will be so much...
I have attached the DTMF decoder circuit using MT8870 IC. I that circuit, at the input section two zener diodes are used face to face..
I want to know why it is used...???
i am using a mobile phone instead of telephone.... its working fine... but can i remove those zener diodes...
ok i got it....
now i have another problem.. i am using relay for reversing the direction of motor, the problem is: two terminals in the relay are 'Normally Closed' , that means the dc motor should be always running in atleast one direction....
Then, How can i stop the robot...??? The...
i am designing a robot using DTMF decoder concept, wherein i will get 4 bit output from the decoder IC which i am going to use to control the robot's moving directions... i cannot use microcontrollers for any purpose..... I am using Two DC motors for two wheels of the robot... and am using a...
ok.... finally got it..... :) i think the problem was lack of fundamentals in circuit design.... Anyhow am a Computer Science student.. am a newbie in this field... Learning a lot of things from u all.... Thank u all for helping me in this issue.... I am marking this thread as [SOLVED]...
Ok... finally i am getting 5V output from my decoder IC.... I have changed my circuit a little... I am going to use a 12V electro-mechanical Relay which is driven by a 555 timer IC which will output a larger current to relay.... I am not going to use any transistor..... I have attached the...
Yes, i am facing the same problem... i was not knowing about this before..... and the transistor circuit in post #2 is not amplifying current, it just steers the output based on control signal......
Can u help me regarding this current isssue.....?? Can u please give me the circuit to amplify...
Thank You sir, u made our circuit much simpler.... its working fine... :-D

Actually i am giving +5V supply to a decoder IC..... I have connected some relays at the output pins of the IC, so that when an...
hello, i am doing a circuit in which we are getting 1.98 volts output from an IC.... i have to connect this to a 5V relay... So now i have use an amplifier circuit to amplify 1.9V signal to 5V... So can anyone please help me about this.... How can i design the circuit using transistors and...
Hahaha  Actually its correct... But u may have seen, in most of the places where the person counters are installed they make a passage in such a way that only one person can pass through it at a time.... Ya i too agree, nowadays advanced systems are being used which uses different...
Hi... I need a help from u all... I am doing "A bidirectional Visitor Counter" using a pair of Infrared LEDs and Photo Diodes..... I googled about this, but each and every result uses a microcontroller in it....
I am a Computer Science Student and dont have much Idea about...
Thank U for the link.... it is given that it senses IR from the Remote Controls (35 Khz)... Can we make it to sense IR signals from an IR LED (shown in the pic. in thread #1)...???
Thanks in advance...
hello all,
I am doing a Visitor counter which uses IR LED & Sensor and a counter IC.... I have bought an IR LED and Sensor which looks like this:
i don't know how to connect that 3 Terminal IR sensor... Can anyone help me about this.... What are those 3 terminals..??? How can i connect...
I am also doing the same project... but without using any microcontrollers..... am in the starting stage of this project...
this link may help you: **broken link removed**
i think each output Q1 to Q4 will go to Relay switch.... :)
