power supply
i am currently doing a power supply which produce 240VDC from 240VAC. Not knowing the reason, the basic power supply which consist only of a bridge rectifier (RS606) and a capacitor (100uF, 240V) can output 330VDC. May i know why the power supply can step up the voltage to 330VDC...
If i had a pulse which traverse in the negative and the positive region, is that possible to switch this kind of pulse to traverse in positive region only? What component should i add to have positive region only?
