Polynomial equation from the S matrix

could you please tell me how can we find the polynomials with the matlab?. because I have the S2P file, when I tried the poly command it doesn't work out for me.

Polynomial Equation from the S matrix

Hello friends, I have to get the polynomial equation from the S matrix, for example I have measured the S parameters of the SMA connector using the VNA for the frequency range 300KHz to 4GHz. I have to determine the loss of the connector and get the polynomial equation for the each S parameters...

Antenna Received Power measurement using VNA

Hi, Thank you for your post. I have attached the block diagram of what you have asked me to do in order to measure the power. Is this block diagram is right? Friis transmission equation: Pr= Pt+Gr+Gt+20log(λ/4πR) So, by using directional coupler, I have to measure...

Antenna Received Power measurement using VNA

Hi, I need to measure the received power of the wifi antenna using vna. VNA used- M9370A keysight. Receiver antenna specifications– omni directional whip antenna • 2.4-2.5GHz • 2.15dBi gain I connected port 2 of vna with the receiver antenna while the port 1 is connected to the 50 ohm load...

[SOLVED] VNA S Parameters Measurements - Insertion and Return loss

3.5mm type?, No actually it is an N type connector. I used atennuator as a reference for my testing, actually I am doing measurements with Antennas. Thank you so much for taking your time to answer me.

[SOLVED] VNA S Parameters Measurements - Insertion and Return loss

Attenuators Specifications: Attenuator 16 dB @ 30 MHz - 15.0 dB @ 1 GHz - 14.60 dB And it is not an SMA type, BNC type attenuator.

[SOLVED] VNA S Parameters Measurements - Insertion and Return loss

Hi, Maybe, but I used ECal module for calibration so i dont think it was due to calibration. Are you telling that the result plot is not accurate?

[SOLVED] VNA S Parameters Measurements - Insertion and Return loss

Thank you. And If IL = 14.24dB means, then Gain will be -14.24dB right?. And I used an attenuator of 16dB, so gain should be 14.24dB ( not -14.24dB)?

[SOLVED] VNA S Parameters Measurements - Insertion and Return loss

Hello, I am using keysight M9370A VNA, I just want to clear my doubts on VNA plots, I have attached the picture of VNA S parameters plots of an attenuator of 16dB ( connected to the ports of the VNA) with this post. From the picture, It is clearly seen that the plots are in logmag format...
