3 Phase - Phase Cross Detection (Not Zero Cross)

I am looking when phase 2 crosses phase 1 and rises 3V above. The winding is listed as 18VAC RMS 24V peak. There really is no difference between the 2, but I was instructed to not use a zero cross because the generator (250KVA) is getting smacked with a high current draw every 6 seconds so I...

3 Phase - Phase Cross Detection (Not Zero Cross)

I am looking to detect a point after a phase crossing. I have 3 phases at 24VAC coming from aux windings on a transformer. I have no neutral or earth reference from these taps. I would like to know when phase 2 crosses phase 1 and there is a 3V difference. I bread boarded a comparator with...

Help designing 1.6KW Isolated AC/DC with Constant Current Output

I would prefer a standard full bridge over a PSFB as this is my first higher powered design and I want to keep it as simple as possible. I do need the output to have a quick response, but I am not sure what that speed is yet. I would most likely prototype the supply and add the bucks if needed...

Help designing 1.6KW Isolated AC/DC with Constant Current Output

I need to design a power supply that will regulate 35A CC. The proposed input power is 3PH 70VAC 2800ARMS off the secondary off a 480V transformer. I need a little guidance to get on the correct path to base a design. Application is industrial equipment. I have 2 input power options: Use the...

3 Phase Sine Wave Generator - OPAMPs too hot.

High current opamps seem to be obsolete. Can you recommend an alternative that is SOIC-8. Component shortages also make sourcing alternates difficult. I do have 20-30 different opamps laying around that I can try if needed. Removing C11-C13 solved the heating and oscillation issue. This circuit...

3 Phase Sine Wave Generator - OPAMPs too hot.

Thank you for the quick reply. I am not sure why I left out the decoupling caps. If I remove C11 C12 C13, how do I get the earth reference for a single phase? The 60mA RMS is for the L272 opamps in the original design. I will pull those caps and see how it effects the temperature and oscillations.

3 Phase Sine Wave Generator - OPAMPs too hot.

I am working on reproducing this hobby circuit from zapstudio.com. I wanted to make it surface mount and add some features that I need. I have one of these kits and it works, but the opamps are obsolete and I wanted to make some changes. I rolled a new PCB and it works but the opamps get...

Help me identify this connector Service Manual might be needed LG PA75U

Here is another picture of the bad connector. Is there also anywhere else that I could post this to get more eyes to see it?

Help me identify this connector Service Manual might be needed LG PA75U

I was able to identify the connector on the opposite side of the cable. So I can now make 50% of the replacement cable. The 12 pin still eludes me. Molex Pico-SPOX 1.5mm pitch. 87439-0800 The service manual does not list the part numbers for either the plug or the socket. So it is down to...

I checked both Molex and JST cant seem to find a match single row 12 pin

Help me identify this connector Service Manual might be needed LG PA75U

Last night I found the short that caused this. A 10uF SMD cap was fully shorted. Not sure how the cap outlasted the wires but the problem is solved none the less. Now I just need to rebuild the wire harness and It should be back in service, if I can find the parts.

This is a 12 pin connector 2mm pitch. Only marking I could find is YH. Part number might be in the service manual. P100 is the location on the PCB
