Well of cource u can do so.But u have to take into consideration the different factors involved in cell planning.Because u might be using micro and macro cells in an area.The main issue is the sharing of channels b/w macro and micro cells for this...

It depends on ur requirements.For long distace and secure network CDMA is better and cheaper while WiMax is Better for wireless LANs.
