Is it possible to drive FDU90 Ultrasonic sensor without using FMU90 Transmitter?

I was just playing with a FDU91 sensor and it has 3-wires one is shield and the others are red and yellow wires. A weird thing is that there is a very low impedance between the shield and the red wire in the sensor side. They are almost short circuited ! After connecting either of red or...

Is it possible to drive FDU90 Ultrasonic sensor without using FMU90 Transmitter?

Wow it's great that you got those from the documents so fast ! By the way why do they call it the "transmitter" ?

Is it possible to drive FDU90 Ultrasonic sensor without using FMU90 Transmitter?

Thank you. Yeah you guessed right. It's not what I want. Did you work with E+H products or you just took a wild guess? I figured maybe it's a simple 4-20mA sensor. Cause the word 4mA and 20mA have been mentioned in their documents multiple times. And how is it just a ultrasonic transceiver...

Is it possible to drive FDU90 Ultrasonic sensor without using FMU90 Transmitter?

Someone has gave me a FDU90 sensor (Ultrasonic sensor for non-contact continuous level measurement from Endress+Hauser which is quite famous in non-contact level and flow measurements) Apparently it is for connecting to FMU90 transmitter (from the same company). But I was wondering is it...

How to use IAR Version Control System ?

Thank you. Are you using it with IAR? I mean does IAR detect it automatically? Well what should I download? GitHub Desktop or Git for Windows ? I'm confused. If I need to install something else please mention it here.

How to use IAR Version Control System ?

In oppose to VistualSVN Server or TortoiseSVN ? And how do I do that? Does GIT allow me to have a local copy of the project like other SVNs out there ? I don't want to rely on the network too much. I would rather do these things locally.

How to use IAR Version Control System ?

I want to use a Version Control System on my computer in IAR so I could be able to keep track of my programs and changes and everything. I have never used any sort of Version Control System before (It's a shame, I know!)I have downloaded "TortoiseSVN" and "VisualSVN Server" and have svn.exe in...

DS3231 does not advance time and date

Like I said before both DS3231 are working with the same VCC. They just connected to different I2C ports. How come one of them is always in Reset state (RST signal is pulled low all the time) ? and another is working ?

DS3231 does not advance time and date

VCC is 3.3V and VPF according to datasheet is : MIN: 2.45 TYP: 2.575 MAX: 2.70

DS3231 does not advance time and date

Well my problem with the DS3231 module was fixed. At least for now! Apparently the Enable Oscillator (EOSC) bit in the Control Register was set to high. So that's why It was not advancing time when the power was turned off. Maybe I was reading the register wrong before. So we leave it at that...

DS3231 does not advance time and date

Well thanks. I think I have noticed that and when I checked it wasn't set to high. Maybe I have to double check that but it says that when the power is applied this bit is 0 by default so I can say for sure that it is 0 since I haven't wrote any values to Control Register, you see ? And what...

DS3231 does not advance time and date

I can read and write the DS3231 timekeeping registers correctly. But I have two kind of problems. First: I have one DS3231 mounted on my board and I have set the time and date correctly then I turned off the board and checked the values later and it was all OK(It was really advancing time in...

    Measure vehicle speed using Odometer

Thank you Well there should be some sort of coefficient or something, right?

    Measure vehicle speed using Odometer

How can I measure vehicle speed using its odometer sensor? I think its output pulse has a low frequency around 200Hz in 100Km/h speed. Do I have to count its pulses in a defined time or should I measure the pulse width ? In either ways what is the necessary calculations or formula?

Thanks dude, but I'm still in square one ! I think I need some documents about the concept and things like that.
