oky mojy firstly your AVR must have UART or USART or u need to implement it by software if AVR have UARt simply u need a level converter as this pic

any signal we can represent it by a dc and cos and sin using Fourier series every term of the Fourier called harmonic there s 1st harmonic 3rd harmonic and so on

i advice u to start with basic language with a bascome it is a very good compiler but it is take a large place from memory then try to learn a assembly

simply transfer function is used to get a relation between the input and the output
without solving the circuit you can get it by using laplace transform and u it used to draw a diagrams for filter from this diagrams we can known the type of the filter
