Hello everyone,
I am designing a circuit using microstrip lines in ADS. I have a problem with transforming lumped components(capacitor and inductor) to microstrip lines. Can someone explain me how to do this for this particular example? Thank you!
Thanks!
I did that and managed to increase the frequnency up to 1.9GHz but no more. Do you have any other suggestions for changing components values to increase frequency?
I got an oscillation but its not at the correct resonant frequency. I know that there are mismatches due to the distortion from microstrip lines but do you have any sugggestion how to increase the frequency. I am getting 1.6 Ghz while aiming for 2.4 GHz.
Thanks!
Hello. I followed your suggestions and designed this circuit:
However, I am not getting any oscillation from Vout.
Do you have any suggestions what could be wrong with the circuit?
Thank you all!
Hello,
Thank you all for the help and suggestions. I want to use a real RF transistor BFR540. Is anyone familiar with downloading libraries from NXP for their models as I am only finding High Power Design Kits and not the one for my application? I cannot find the BFR540.
Thanks.
Hello everyone,
I am really struggling with designing a Colpitts oscillator for 2.4 Ghz. I know the principles and read a lot about it but my simulation in ADS does not work. I am spending hours on this without any progress and can't find where is my mistake. Would really appreciate if someone...
