i did try both UNI and BI , my main problem is the shunt having 1 side to gnd !!! so AIN(-) is at GND and AIN(+) on the other side of the shunt for the measure !!
it seems that the AD7796 does not like to measure with AIN(-) to GND !!!

Forgot to write that i'm measuring DC current of short circuit of battery , the circuit is simply a battery in series with a shunt and a contactor !!! i measure the current till it goes down to zero !!!

i need to amplify a shunt that give 1 mV per 1 Amp . I will measure from 0 to 50 Amp so 0 to 50mV. i want to amplify it to be 0 to 2.0 V for my ADC input . Up to now i tried an instrument amplifier made of 3 OP270 . My problem right now is the low value 0 to 5 mV , i can't get precise...

First i use CCS compiler through MPlab , when i compile a project it creates many files , hex, lst , etc one of em is a .COF files.
In Proteus you select the PIC and goes to its "edit component", then you select your .COF files as its program file !!!

j'ai essaye 7.50 , 7.51 et maintenant 7.52 , l'installation du driver se fait bien(pre-install) , mais lors de la connection UNRECOGNISE USB DEVICE !!!
I tried mpLAB 7.50, 7.51 and 7.52 , driver pre-install ok the upon usb connection i get UNRECOGNISE USB DEVICE
btw i tried 2 different USB...
OK latest results , last night i replaced the 4550 wit h a new one , so now connections are a bit better with Win XP USB1.1 ports , it is not always recognise the first time , but better than nothing , under Win2k USB2.0 port not recognise ever !! even after clean removal/install of drivers...
yes i did install properly , i did a clean uninstall and reinstall , up to now Win XP with USB1.1 recognise once in a while or after a mclr when connected !!, but no luck att all on a PC under WIN2K USB2.0
tonight i will try a new 4550 !!!!

no improvement , at least at home under usb1.1 i can connect doing a mclr , but here at work on usb2.0 computer , nothing at all , ven after a clean driver install !!!
Hi CD , happy to see you around , you never had any problem connecting ??? , my board look as good as yours !!! but is a nighmare to connect all the time , are your PICs program with the exact files you posted ??? can you read your PIC and send me the hex files ??? S.V.P. ;-) cousin francais !!!!
