The latest version of Xilinx that support Spartan is 4.2i Sprtan4k.exe. However, Schematic editor for Spartan is not supported. Third party tools are required to accomplish design entry using this software.
I am trying to install Xilinx Foundation 2.1i on Pentium 4 PC, but I am not able to do...
I manage to get ISE 4.2i Student Edition. However I am not able to run the schematic editor . The only design folw I can get is EDIF. can any one help?
* the only device installed is Spartan.
