Hi all,
I need to make a flat panel with switches.
My first try was with a lexan 100µ film and tact switches behind.
I have some problem because the lexan is too rigid and sometime the swich
do not "come back" ( it stay "on" position )
Do you know some company that could do flat panel front...

I have to print to a RS232 printer from a µcontroler, Ok it quite as easy as writing to serial... but a need some info on managing "out of paper", "end of page", buffer ..... does someone have a code sample about that ?
I also appreciate info on printig to // printer but with IOs

I am curently using a classic soldering Iron quite succesfully , but would like to know if reflow oven or air soldering machine are better ?

Speed measurement
the only working solution is doppler microwave radar.
It is easyer than you can imagine, you only need a CW source and a receiving antenna ( cone for example ). Adding source and received signal will give you a frequency in the Hz..kHz domain: easy to manage...
the problem is that I can only use I2C : only SCL and SDA wires can go out of my µC PCB ....
If I can not find an already existing application, I'll use a // printer and a standard I/O for I2C.

I am working in Delphi,
I need to convert a 4 byte floating point number ( single ) into the 4 variable of one byte.
example:

// in memory i= $41 70 00 00 in IEEE 4 byte format
how can I convert i to i1=$41 , i2 = $70, i3=$00...

The Epson 950 cost 350€ and can print on CDs and on other flat support up to 2.5mm thick.
Who have an idea or experience of material ( plastic ) rugged enough to be printed and flexible enough to make a flat keypad ?
It will be a pretty solution for protoypes !
