Hi,
Please go through the previous posts,,,,,posted by me....I hope you will find the answer....
Define integtration line from ground conductor to the strips.....direction shouldnt matter, as it will give you the same magnitude of the field.....you can also change teh excitation of the sources...
Well thats the tricky part.........i guess one of the right way to check for right port size is simulate first for port only solution and verify the fields.......if you see the the right field distribution....then the port is right.
hope this helps
solution frequency in hfss
well set the solution frequency to the maximum frequency you are trying to simulate in the frequency range.
Then try setting the frequency at the center frequency in the frequency range.
Try checking the convergence in the matrix data....the one which gives you the...
hfss stripline
Hi,
i dont actually know how can one simulate a stripline with lumped port.
However, you can define a waveport as defined in the manual or help. define a integration line from lower conductor to the strip. If you have 2 strips define 2 integration lines in the same direction...
bowtie antenna hfss simulation
Hi,
Can anyone please provide me with an example of bow-tie microstrip pacth antenna using HFSS. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Hi Jian,
I know that the following question in inappropriate in this context, I would like to ask you a question which I had been working on since 3 weeks but no luck. I hope you be able to advice me on this:
I am trying to simulate a coupled microstrip lines on ground plane. I am...
Hi Jian,
I am following your replies in this forum. I can't stop myself from appreciating you for your prompt replies and great work.
Hats off. Please do continue.
Hi,
I have read this book "microwave circuit modeling using electromagnetic field simulation"- by daniel g. Swanson Jr., Wolfgang J.R. Hoefer. Its great book and discusses whats missing in modern CAD software especially in Chapter 2.
hfss mesh3d
hi,
I do not think so. Well as the dimension of structure is relative to the range of frequencies you are looking. It is scaled accordingly. As long as you define your frequency range, dimension of the structure for that frequencies and material properties of teh materials you are...
hfss set dimensions of imported model
hi,
i guess since the wavelength is more, even the size of the structure increases.....right,
so the structure dimensions would be in meters, well I guess you should first try simulating it....
